multi-unit Residential ARCHITECTS
We provide Guidance, Design, Documentation and Regulated Designs for your project.
Multi-Unit/Dwelling experienced architects
You will be guided by locally trained and locally experienced (NSW) staff in the design and delivery of multi-unit/dwelling residential projects – ranging from attached dwellings, townhouses, boarding houses/co-living buildings, built-to-rent and apartment buildings. Our multi-unit/dwelling residential experience has been gained in the private and public sectors including projects for the NSW Government and we strive to achieve the best outcome for you, the site and the brief.
Housing demand and diversity
New South Wales is currently seeking an uplift in housing to meet targets in a sustainable and efficient manner. Multi-units/dwellings are considered to be the typology that facilitates an expedited increase in residential accommodation for NSW to meet the demand that currently exists.
Multi-unit housing is diverse and is able to be developed in volume — it requires a careful and strategic approach that can take shape and form in many various typologies. An apartment block in a high-density precinct, a row of townhouses that frame a neighbourhood street, or a build-to-rent development designed to deliver opportunities for those that are seeking to enter the local market. It may also be co-living accommodation, affordable housing, or a hybrid of typologies available. Our underlying aim is to create spaces that support everyday living while seeking to elevate design outcomes for both residents and the wider community.
Modern Methods of Construction (MMC)
We are actively embracing, researching, and investigating Modern Methods of Construction to transform the way multi-unit/dwelling residential projects are designed and delivered across Sydney and New South Wales. We recognise that housing demand, sustainability imperatives, and cost efficiency require new approaches that go beyond traditional construction models.
MMC is a relatively new and constantly evolving industry with new technologies and approaches appearing in the Australian construction industry. We are open to reviewing and implementing new methods, systems and strategies that may be suitable for your project, including modular design, prefabrication and hybrid construction systems.
Bespoke architects
We offer a bespoke approach to architectural and design services, tailored to the project brief, site context and planning framework. Whether it’s low-rise, mid-rise or high-rise developments, luxury apartments, or socially conscious housing initiatives, we strive to bring your vision to life with technical knowledge and creative flair that is designed and capable of being constructed. Our approach is to design buildings that are genuine and humble in nature and pragmatic to the real world, whilst embracing sustainable and carbon footprint principles.

our process.
Our process is flexible that adapts, evolves and responds to your needs. It is the streamlined result of past experience in designing buildings for our clients.
01
Planning
We set priorities, investigate, gather information, and understand the brief that will inform a tailored service. You will have a better understanding of the process for your project and what it will cost to prepare documents for approval.
02
Design
Once we are approved to proceed, we test your brief against information gathered, planning controls and work up a design solution for you. This process involves close communication between you and our creative team. We begin by creating a concept design for your review and feedback.
03
Collaborate
There are many things that make up a building, so collaboration plays an important aspect of any project.
Working with other expert consultants so that input are considered and we all work towards the same goal.
04
Visualisations
3D / Virtual Reality
With technology moving very fast we can prepare traditional physical models to visualisations or 3d renderings to help you visualise the design before it gets built. This can reduce delays and save money for changes if they were incurred otherwise during construction.
05
Develop
With the schematic design approved by the client, the team fine tunes, add notes and content to the drawings and documentation for sign-off prior to submission.
06
Approvals
All the documentation are gathered and submitted for assessment. We can monitor on the progress of the application and if required, assist with providing additional information or address council questions regarding the design.
